FAQ
Q: Do you see patients on an emergency basis?
A: If you require immediate attention, we will do everything we can to schedule a same-day or next-day appointment for you.

Q: What constitutes a dental emergency?
A: Swelling, severe pain, trauma or accident, broken tooth and more.

Q: Can you give me a quote on specific services that you offer?
A: Though our prices do reflect the Provincial Fee Guide, we prefer to see you in person so that our dental practitioners can make a treatment plan for you before we discuss cost. There is no way for our administrative staff to give you an exact or accurate quote for treatment before you have been examined by a dentist.

Q: Are your treatment rooms, waiting area, and parking lot wheelchair accessible?
A: You bet! Our new facility is very spacious and we have many accessible operatories for your convenience.

Q: Will you remind me about my appointment?
A: We will attempt to remind you about your appointment the day before, however we expect you to show up regardless of confirmation. We kindly offer an automated reminder service so that you can be emailed or texted about your appointments. If we don't hear from you, we will follow up with a phone call and leave a message if you don't answer.

Q: Can I walk-in and be seen the same day?
A: We would prefer if you made an appointment unless there is an emergency.

Q: Are you accepting new patients and families?
A: We are always accepting new patients! We would be delighted to welcome you and your family to our clinic. Call us or stop by on your free time to make appointments.

Q: Is my child's first dental appointment free?
A: If your child is cooperative, and we are able to examine or clean their teeth, corresponding fees will apply.

Q: Can you tell me how much my insurance will cover for specific services?
A: We will kindly send pre-determinations for major dental coverage when necessary to help you prepare for payment upon completion. We do like to remind patients that your insurance information is private and we generally do not have access to specific details other than overall coverage percentage, some frequency limitations and pre-determination approvals.

Q: Can you make sure that my child is on my insurance plan?
A: We cannot. Changes to your insurance plan details must be discussed directly with your insurance company and/or HR department.

Q: Why did I get a bill in the mail? I paid my co-pay at my last visit.
A: This is circumstantial, but your insurance company may not tell us exactly how much they are going to cover upon transmitting your claim. Sometimes the co-pay will end up being a little bit more than we expected due to a frequency or coverage limitation.

Q: I don't like going to the dentist. What can you do to help me relax?
A: Our oral health care providers offer a compassionate chair side manner to help you feel confident about coming to visit us time and time again. Our facility is modern, clean and comforting. During your appointment, you will have to option to utilize our in-ceiling entertainment (complete with headphones and Netflix) during treatment.
